With a humble beginning, Apostle Katambara's journey to ministry is a testament to God's calling and faithfulness.

A Life Transformed

Before answering the call to ministry, Apostle Katambara worked at Uganda National Water and later ventured into business, selling electronics from Uganda to Kenya.

However, God had other plans for him. As a devoted Christian, Apostle Katambara was already serving as an evangelist and road minister, preaching the Gospel and leading people to Christ.

 A pivotal moment came when he prayed for a woman who was possessed, and she was delivered.

 This miracle marked the beginning of a ministry that would bring salvation, healing, and deliverance to countless lives.

Kiswahili Full Gospel Church, located in Kakoba, Mbarara, Uganda, is a vibrant and dynamic ministry that has been transforming lives since its inception on April 24, 2004


Humble Beginnings

The church started in a small rented room in Kiswahili Cell, Mbarara, with Apostle Abel Katambara as its founder and vision bearer. Through the apostle's wife, they secured the room from his mother-in-law, who owned the property.

 

Exponential Growth

By God's grace and power, the church experienced exponential growth, moving from one location to another, until it finally settled in its current location in Kakoba. Today, the church is a beacon of hope and salvation, known for its miraculous works and transformative ministry.

 

A Ministry Marked by Miracles

Kiswahili Full Gospel Church has been marked by numerous miracles, including:

  • The lame walking
  • Barren women giving birth to triplets and quadruplets
  • Cancer healings
  • Blind people receiving sight
  • People with disabilities being healed
